The first thing I would do is contact the college or university that you have been accepted to and visit with the international student representative. They usually have all of the answers. If not, they know where to find them. more

They are called Optical Mark Readers or Optical Mark Recognition systems - the most basic would use a scanner with software installed on the attached computer, have a look  here at the wiki page for Optical mark recognition. It has some links at the bottom that includes some manufacturers. I've never had the need to use them, so can't really offer any more advice, but hope that this helps. more
